Creator Hub Terms

Version 1.2 | Last Updated: 22 April 2026 | Effective Date: 22 April 2026

Plain-language summary (not legally binding). The Creator Hub lets you connect external social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) to SocialGryd so we can fetch your public metrics and, optionally, your DMs. You control what we access. You can disconnect any platform at any time. These Terms add to the main SocialGryd Terms and Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

These Creator Hub Terms ("Creator Hub Terms") apply to any user who connects an external platform to SocialGryd via the Creator Hub. They supplement the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and (where you also use the Marketplace) the Marketplace Terms.

2. What the Creator Hub Does

3. OAuth Scopes and Your Consent

When you connect a platform, you are redirected to that platform's OAuth flow and approve specific scopes. We will never request scopes broader than the functionality you have chosen. Default scopes are limited to public metrics; private-data scopes (like DMs) are default-off and require a separate toggle.

The list of default and optional scopes per platform is published in our Privacy Policy Section 10 and in the Sub-processors List Section 8.

4. Your Responsibilities When Connecting an External Platform

5. Data We Store

We store OAuth access and refresh tokens encrypted at rest. We store fetched metrics and (where enabled) DMs in line with the retention periods in the Privacy Policy. On disconnect, we target deletion of cached metrics and cached DMs tied to that connection from live systems within 30 days, and we remove them from rolling backups within 90 days (the same residual-backup window described in Privacy Policy Section 20). If you want to override these default retention windows for your connection, email privacy@socialgryd.com and we will action your request under your Article 17 GDPR right to erasure (subject to the lawful-retention grounds set out in the Privacy Policy).

6. Revocation

You can disconnect any linked platform at any time from the Creator Hub settings. You can also revoke our app's permission directly in the external platform's settings; we poll token validity and clean up associated data when we detect revocation.

7. Metrics Accuracy and Platform Changes

Metrics are provided "as reported" by the external platform and are not independently verified by SocialGryd. Metrics may lag, be estimated by the external platform, or change retroactively. We accept no responsibility for incorrect or missing metrics caused by the external platform.

8. Marketplace Interaction

Your Creator Hub metrics may influence Marketplace search results if you opt in to Marketplace visibility (see Marketplace Terms). Opt-in is separate from platform connection and can be withdrawn independently.

9. Prohibited Use

You must not:

10. External Platforms' Own Terms

By connecting an external platform, you acknowledge that each external platform has its own terms of service and privacy policy, and that SocialGryd is not responsible for the external platform's practices. Links to external platforms' terms are maintained for reference in the Creator Hub settings.

11. Ownership, Licence, and Music in Imported Content

You retain ownership of the content, metrics, and media associated with your linked external accounts. Nothing in these Creator Hub Terms transfers ownership of that content to SocialGryd.

You grant SocialGryd the licence set out in Terms Section 5b over any content you import, re-publish, cache, or otherwise make available on SocialGryd via the Creator Hub (including thumbnails, post previews, captions, tags, and audio tracks), for the sole purpose of operating the Platform, serving your selected audience, and displaying your metrics. We do not sub-licence imported content to third parties for their independent commercial use, and we do not use it to train generative-AI foundation models (see Terms Section 5c and the AI Notice).

You warrant that you have the right to connect each external account, to approve the OAuth scopes, to supply the imported content to SocialGryd, and to grant the licence in the previous paragraph. You are responsible for ensuring that any music, audio, samples, covers, DJ mixes, or other third-party content embedded in what you import is fully cleared on both the composition side and the recording side for use on SocialGryd. Platform-library music that was cleared by the external platform (for example TikTok's commercial music library, Instagram's music stickers, YouTube Shorts library, or Facebook's Sound Collection) is generally licensed only for use on that external platform and does not carry over to SocialGryd. See the Music and Audio Rights Policy for what is and is not permitted.

If we receive a copyright, neighbouring-rights, trade-mark, publicity, or data-protection complaint about content you imported via the Creator Hub, we will process the complaint under our standard procedures (DMCA for US copyright, Report Illegal Content for DSA Article 16 in the EU, and Terms Section 18 for other notice-and-action categories). You indemnify SocialGryd against third-party claims arising from content you imported in breach of this Section 11, to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.

12. Changes and Termination

We may change these Creator Hub Terms in line with Terms Section 27. We may disable a platform integration without notice if the external platform changes its API in a way that requires re-engineering, or where required by law, safety, or contractual obligation.
